With about a week left before the next Perak state assembly sitting is scheduled to commence, Pakatan seems to be hard pressed on its next course of action.
And judging by ousted Speaker V. Sivakumar reply to an online news portal, Pakatan assemblymen are also divided as to how they should face the Barisan Nasional representatives.
Answers such as - cannot tell you our strategy now because then I would be giving them (BN) the time and opportunity to plan their own moves. But I can assure you that we have a strategy - are merely to comfort themselves.
If the May 7 and Oct 28 sittings last year are anything to go by, it is quite safe to assume that the only strategy Pakatan has in mind is to create havoc and try disrupt proceedings.
Sad to say, such a strategy, akin to the rantings of a spoilt child, will only backfire on them and show their true characters.
They should have learned by know that BN representatives will simply not dance to their tune and go about with the business of the day during the sitting.
The actual losers here, suffice to say, will of course be the voters of these Pakatan assemblymen.
Not observing decorum and making a mockery of the August House do not tantamount to serving the best interests of the rakyat.
Pakatan must stop making farcical statements and stop its games of make believe by pretending that they are still in power.
The truth be told, Pakatan assemblymen have been making a fool of themselves at each assembly sitting since last year.
It is definitely high time for them to act with honour by accepting defeat in a gentlemanly manner.
